It seems like my baby Ben has just exploded with new vocabulary in the past few weeks. He is like a little parrot and repeats EVERYTHING we say. In fact a few weeks ago Stephen was holding Ben and gave him something that he wanted and I looked over at him and said, “sucker”. And little Ben immediately repeated…..”sucker”. It was so funny and awful all at the same time!
But last Wednesday nightI realized why Ben is talking so much. On the way to church I hear from the back seat:
Natalie: Ben say…… hair
Ben: heeeer
Natalie: Ben say…… Tarlos (Carlos)
Ben: Har-wos
Natalie: Ben say…..moon
Ben: Noon
Natalie: Ben say…….Apple
Ben: Bapple
And back and forth they go for the longest time until Natalie runs out of words for Ben to say or until he’s tired of says what she wants!! So that’s how my little guy has learned his vocabulary!
