My name is Sarah, though I hear “mommy” way more often. I have been married to the love of my life for 14 years. God has blessed our family with seven beautiful children. Four of our children joined our family through adoption and one through birth and two through international student hosting. My heart cry for many years was a longing for children and then God gave me the reality of Psalm 113:9:
He gives the barren woman a home,
making her the joyous mother of children.
Praise the LORD!
In two years God blessed our family with four children, Carlos and Jeremiah arrived home from their birth country of Guatemala in January 2006. Natalie arrived home from Memphis Tennessee in May of 2007. And Benjamin was born in March of 2008. God has given us a desire to fulfill James 1:27. And in August 2011 our sweet baby Jadyn joined our family. In 2014 “Sam” come from China to spend a year with us as an exchange student. We had no idea that he would soon feel like one of our own. In 2015, Sam returned to our home for another year and was joined by Leon.
In our home, visiting orphans in their affliction takes the face of adoption. Thank you for joining us as we travel this journey of faith……faith in a God who is bigger than any fear we might experience in this life.
