Beach Trip 2012 Part 2

Thoughts from the beach:

I forgot how much I really do love the shore.  How soothing the waves are and how much the“beach friends” love each other!

Speaking of “beach friends” we’ve collected quite a pile of them!  Check out these beautiful cousins:

The big boys

The big girls

The little boys, with Jadyn directing (Jadyn needs some new cousins in her group!!)

Jadyn at the beach:  This girl is my “all in” girl!  She does things 100%every time.  We arrived late evening on Saturday, but went down to “see” the ocean before it got dark.  Of course “seeing” the ocean also meant getting drenched and covered in sand but I was ok with that!

Jadyn was delighted with this huge sandbox, but her delight over the sand was far overshadowed by her delight over the water!  She made an instant bee-line for the waves, squealing and laughing.  I so wish I had unpacked my camera.

Nothing would deter our little Jady-girl.  Even being knocked over, time and again, salt water up her nose and sand in her hair(oh yeah, she put it there) she did not care, she’s a real beach babe, hehe.  The only thing that really made her unhappy was the undertow of the water going back to sea……poor baby would get so dizzy and stumble around on the sand like a sailor trying to find his sea legs.

Jadyn was super happy with her constant playmates, Carter and Mia.  She loves having people around, pretty sure she’s going to be my social butterfly.

On our last day at the beach my sister Elizabeth was pulling the kids in the shallow water on the boogie board.  Jadyn would not be left out, so Elizabeth told her to lay down…….down went her little head, small hands grasping the sides of the board and away she would glide across the water.  She never fell off and when her turn was over she would chase down the boogie board for another ride.

What?!?!  Licking sand…..no way, not me!!!!!!!  That’s just, ahm, bread crumbs, yeah, bread crumbs!
