Jousting

Dinner is ready, we are just waiting for Stephen to get home…..what to do to pass the time……why jousting with your 4 year-old of course…….So he got a wooden spoon and I got a soup ladle and away we went……taking whacks at each other (by the way the kids LOVED my Karate Kid imitation). The “fight” is going swimmingly…..I’m pretty sure I’m winning……when Ben says, “hold on a second Mommy” and pulls out his cell phone to answer a “call”.  WHAT??!!? Just when I was getting ahead technology steps in and ruins the day!  hehe
