On Friday night Carlos had his final soccer game of the spring season. He has a lot of natural ability (must be the Latino blood), but this season he really took off in the way he was able to control the ball. I’m really a terrible soccer mom….I know NOTHING about the sport. But it is really exciting to see your child flying down the field with determination as he dodges past the defending players headed for the goal. It’s also exciting to see Carlos grow as a team player by passing the ball when someone else is open, giving other players the opportunity to score and showing his less skilled teammates “cool moves”.
