Safari

On Monday the kids and I went to the Safari (well all of us except for Ben, he had a wonderful day at Oma’s house).  It was a very cold (low 50’s) and cloudy, but we had a great time!  We went a little early to see the animals and eat lunch.  At 12:45 we got to go on our “hay ride” as Jeremiah called it!  We rode in the wagon, pulled by a tractor.  Jeremiah was in “hay ride” heaven!  Natalie was a little freaked out over the big animals and would not feed them, but Carlos really had a fun time.  He was riding near the tractor and got to ask the guide lots of questions!!  Jeremiah just enjoyed riding!!  In fact he liked it so much that he did not want to get off!!  We were the last to exit the wagon and he planted his little bottom on the seat and just cried!!  I literally had to carry him off!!

After looking at the animals again we (my sister Rebekah, my friend Summer and I) pilled the kids in the back of Summer’s Pilot and drove through the park again.  It was quiet funny with three adults and 10 kids 6 and under (mostly UNDER) in one vehicle!  We laughed AT LOT and really had a fun time.  The camels were especially hilarious.  They were not shy about sticking their heads in the car looking for food.
