Holding down the Home front

I was so excited because we were able to FaceTime with Stephen for a few minutes this afternoon.  He and the team were in Antigua today.  The kids were SO excited to see and talk with Stephen.  Jadyn didn’t know for sure what was going on and kept saying “who head dat?  Papi?”  It was so funny!  When you FaceTime your face does look pretty big on the screen.

Today was a good day.

  • We went to church this morning
  • And then went out to lunch with friends.
  • Other friends gave us some yummy food for dinner (that’s for tomorrow’s dinner, yay!!).
  • The day was warm and sunny so the kids played outside for quite a while this afternoon.
  • We got to FT with Stephen
  • Several people told me that they were/are praying for us “holding down the home front” and that was SO encouraging to me.  I know there is a huge spiritual battle going on.

Day 2 in operation “survive Stephen’s mission trip” complete!
