Day 23: I have the best mom in the world! Just thought you should know that right from the start! Not only was she a fantastic mommy to me as a kid and is a wonderful mommy to me now as an adult, but she’s an amazing Oma to my kids (actually to all 13 of her grandkids). My mom had 8 of her grandkids spend Thanksgiving night….but not just spend the night, camp out on the living room floor!! And yes, she camped out on the floor with them! She played games, cooked food, told stories, took walks, changed diapers and so much more for her grandkids this weekend……and I am thankful. I am thankful we live close, so we can see my mom often. I am thankful that she loves each of her grandkids regardless of how they joined our family. I am thankful.
