Since we usually have AWANAs on Wednesday nights and Ben birthday fell this year on Wednesday, we had planned to celebrate Ben’s special day on Friday. Good plan because Natalie started throwing up early Wednesday morning, so it was a sick day……not so happy for a birthday celebration!
I asked Ben what he wanted for his special birthday meals and he said, “Chocolate milk.” Ok anything else? Nope just chocolate milk! What can I say, that boy loves chocolate! 
I did finally persuade him that he needed something else 
and here’s his food list:
Breakfast: Fruit Loops and chocolate milk
Lunch: Cheetos, grapes, carrots, tuna sandwiches and chocolate milk
Dinner: tacos and chocolate milk
Ben picked out the truck cake to be made, of course, from chocolate cake! It was a super fun cake to make too!

After lunch I asked Ben what he would like to do for his birthday and he immediately said, “take a baff” (bath)! Which I did let him do after eating cake…..boy was he a mess!
Did I mention that this was a super fun cake to make?!?!?! Just love the donut tire on the back!
We had a lovely party after eating our dinner of tacos, eating cake, taking baths. Opening gifts…..so exciting.
We let the little ones stay up late (for them anyway) and play with Ben’s new toys.
Ben was so excited for his birthday…..it’s was so cute to see him really getting into his special day! And I think he had a great time.
