Ok blogging break over….on to important things like…..FIRST Birthdays!!
Last Monday we celebrated Ben’s first birthday. Poor little Ben was still not completely over his ear infections, pink eye, cough and fever, so he was not totally perky, but was feeling MUCH better than the week before (and is feeling totally better this week….thankfully) Since Ben is the fourth child I’m very sad to say that chocolate cake is nothing new to him. Poor thing, he’s been totally ruined.
We ate dinner and then the kids played for a little while and then we had cake. I so wanted a picture of Ben in his birthday hat, but he would having nothing doing. He would not even leave that hat alone for one minute…or second. So no cute birthday hat picture for Ben. Although he has had chocolate cake, he did enjoy having his very own cupcake…..and about 3/4s of it I found in his seat. After birthday cupcakes Ben got to open his gift….yep gift. We only got one present for him, but he loved it.
