36 Years

Today would have been my parents 36th wedding anniversary.  When I was a kid my parents didn’t go out very often.  But every year (as far as I can remember) my dad would take my mom out for their anniversary.  Sometimes he would buy her a corsage.  Sometimes they would just go out to dinner and then do Christmas shopping.  As a kid the best part of my parents going out…..my dad always brought us back Dunkin Donuts!  We never EVER got Dunkin Donuts except when my parents went out on a date!  I wish my dad were here to take my mom out on their anniversary date.
