Walk in the Park

Today we went on our first “official” family outing (that did notinclude Lowe’s or the Home Depot!!).  The weather this weekend waslow 80s and really nice, so we took Natalie and the boys out to thepark so Carlos could have his first real ride on his bike. Jeremiah also got his first spin on his tricycle.  He’s beenriding it on our deck and around the house but this was the first timehe got a long ride.

Carlos did great riding his bike and only wrecked a couple of timeswhen he was too busy looking behind and not paying attention to wherehe was going.  Jeremiah also LOVED riding his tricycle.  Hedoes not know how to peddle so he would ride Flintstone style with thislittle feet moving 100 miles an hour.  His only problem was thathe also does not know how to steer!  Jeremiah was too busy lookingat his feet and not spending enough time looking where he wasgoing!!  After walking about a mile correcting his steering it didget a little old, but I thought it was rather hilarious.  Stephenon the other hand said (when we got home) if he was a drinking man hewould be having a beer about now!!

Natalie enjoyed the walk too!  She was quite content riding in the stroller!
